Introduction
The designation of "Network Manager" at the University of Arizona is at times an ill defined and arbitrary one. It comes with a set of duties and functions assigned inconsistently within departmental organizations here. It is given to varying staff designees, from part time students, system analysts, adjunct faculty and administrative assistants.
The role we play has been/is our common variable.
